Step into the spotlight at the AU Arts Council鈥檚 Noon Arts Concert

Students, faculty and staff are invited to showcase their talents at the upcoming Noon Arts Concert.

Presented annually by the , this year鈥檚 event will take place at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the on the Health Sciences Campus.

The Noon Arts Concert has been a tradition since 2001, with the goal of bringing the campus together for a lunch hour of artistic expression. Performers can share their skills in singing, dancing, poetry, instrumental music and more.

鈥淭his concert is a wonderful way to celebrate the arts and the vibrant creativity of our university community,鈥 said Jessica Cooley, AU Arts Council secretary and director of business operations in the . 鈥淓very year, we see amazing talent that inspires and brings us all closer together.鈥

While Valentine鈥檚 Day-themed performances are welcome, they are not required, she added.

Attendees who bring a donation for the will be entered into a raffle for prizes, including roses, chocolates and tickets to performances at the . The includes non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products and school supplies.

The concert is free and open to everyone on campus. The first 100 attendees will receive a complimentary lunch.
